WHY PRIVATE IN-YOUR-HOME DOG TRAINING
HOUSE TRAINING / PUPPY KINDERGARTEN
(ages 2 – 4 months)
Building a solid foundation for obedience training is very important. The sooner you start, the easier it will be to turn your puppy into a confident and happy adult dog. In fact, puppy education is so important that even a genetically “average” puppy can develop into a remarkable dog upon social maturity. Puppy education can also help prevent unwanted behaviors while laying the groundwork for future obedience training.
Our puppy kindergarten class consists of one session of 1 ½ to 2 hours with you and your pet to advise you on the correct procedures of housebreaking, feeding, crate training, walking on a leash, socialization, toys, problem prevention, types of leashes, nipping, biting, and more.
BASIC OBEDIENCE
(ages 4 months and up)
Communication and education are essential for a well-trained dog. Our basic obedience training program is a six-week program at your home, in the dog's own environment. A trainer comes once a week for about 1 – 1½ hours. During these weekly lessons, your dog will learn the following commands:
- HEEL
- SIT
- DOWN
- STAY
- OFF
- COME
- OK
- NO
This program also will deals with problem prevention, in home manners, and any type of behavior modification issues you may have such as jumping, nipping, destruction, and aggression just to name a few. All dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations before beginning.
ADVANCED OBEDIENCE
(after completion of basic obedience)

The Advanced dog obedience program is between 4 and 6 lessons of 1-1½ hours each. Your dog learns all the commands learned in basic obedience but Off-leash. Hand signals are taught with training.
By adding Hand Signals to the verbal commands, the advanced program helps develop a more focused connection and communication between the dog and owner.
BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION
(all ages)
While you may already have a terrific dog, it is still possible for there to be one or two specific bad habits that you would love to get rid of.
Some of these problems may include:
- Separation anxiety
- Soiling the house
- Excessive barking
- Dog aggression
- Snapping and nipping
- Chewing
- Destructive behavior
- Jumping up
- Running away
- Car sickness
- Breed-specific problems
- Other annoyances
